Dan MacLeod

Dan MacLeod has been a contributing member of The Archipelago community since 1980.  He became a member of the Healey Lake Property Owner Association and was elected as President in 2006.  This position was held for ten years.  Dan also enjoys his time as a member of the MacTier Lions Club.  In September 2021, Dan was appointed as Councillor for Ward 6.  He was acclaimed as Councillor in 2022. 

Dan has spent 35 years of his business career working in International/Domestic Logistics and Customs.  He is well acquainted with changing parameters and working with committees to implement positive solutions using strategic decision making, engagement and leadership skills. 

Key issues for Dan as Councillor for Ward 6, are conservation of natural resources and wildlife; understandable and enforceable by-laws; along with community services.   Dan is committed to an open, honest dialogue including community engagement.

While Dan has been coming to Healey Lake/Archipelago since 1955, he became a full time resident in 2020.
