Underused Housing Tax (UHT) – CRA Audit Notices

It has come to the Township’s attention that several non full-time resident property owners in The Archipelago have been contacted by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as part of audits related to the federal Underused Housing Tax (UHT) program.

The Township recognizes that unique local conditions, such as water-only access, seasonal roads, and limited municipal services, may be relevant in these cases. Where appropriate, the Township can provide factual, property-specific information to support residents.
